Educational Excursions

Sponsorship of rural students to have Conservation Education at Lory Park Sanctuary.
During the excursions children are enthralled and have a new Awareness on the desperate need for Conservation, and introductions and explanations on all the animals and the need to protect and conserve.
The ripple effect of Education cannot be emphasized enough.
Below are some examples of pictures from excursions with Allenridge Primary School , Thembisa. Lory Park is approximately 11km away from Allenridge School. The fist time we had the students from Allenridge - they had walked the entire distance. Starting at 6am in order to get to us by 9am. From when we found this out - we organize sponsorship of transport for the students. |
