Events and Expos

Race Against Extinction and Lory Park Sanctuary - joint Conservation Awareness campaigns.

From the Otdoor and Adventure Expos to the Getaway Expos, we educate the public on the plight of animals affected by Traditional Medicine and other trades such as the Fur Trade.
Thank you to Cowan Signs who helped us with the brilliant canvases we use for these Expos.

Below are example pictures from some of our Expos - at each Expo we had with us 3 beautiful Siberian Tiger cubs from Lory Park.

People were very surprised to find out that:
3 Siberian babies makes up more than 0.1% of what is left of the earth’s population of Siberian Tiger (captive and wild).

Awareness on the plight of Tigers, their dwindling numbers due to the horrific trade in body parts and the fur trade, was the theme. Conservation, Education, Awareness.
The impact of having pictures of poachers caught, body parts for the Traditional Asian Medicine trade and furs, together with the cubs was immense.
Many people were shocked that there are so few Tigers left in the Wild.

Concerned, a member of the public talks of the trade in body parts.

Conservation. Education. Awareness.
